The exchange of sensitive data with other people is ubiquitous – whether professionally with a view to sensitive data or the private sharing of unpublished designs. The intention is, of course, that such e-mails should only reach selected recipients. But hackers usually have an easy time of it.
gpg4o prevents third parties from accessing sensitive data. And this is how it works: E-mails are double-encrypted using an asymmetric procedure. This means that e-mails intercepted by third parties and decrypted in the first step are still protected.
In practice, it looks like this:
In the following example, Mr. Mustermann wants to seal the cooperation on a project with Ms. Doe. To do this, he writes an e-mail containing project internals, access data and and sensitive files . It goes without saying that both parties are interested in ensuring that this e-mail traffic cannot be traced by unauthorized persons. Therefore, this e-mail is encrypted with gpg4o.
Gpg4o ensures that third parties cannot read your emails, even if they are intercepted. Encryption takes place automatically in the background. You only need to exchange your public keys with your communication partners once. You can then conveniently choose whether your emails should be encrypted and/or signed. The rest is done for you automatically by gpg4o.
